BUILDING A HEALTHY, HAPPY, SHARP GENERATION. A FLEXIBLE, RHYTHMIC, STRESS FREE YOU!

My name is Sonam, and I’m an ex-national-level badminton player based in Bangalore, India.

Raised by progressive table tennis champions (P.C Rani and S.A.S Navaz), I too, embarked on my athletic odyssey as a table tennis player. However, thanks to my brother Savan Navaz, I found my heart on the badminton court. I spent a good decade competing in various state and national-level tournaments. I soared to the top of the ranks and I was ranked no. 1 in Kerala, India, a personal triumph that still shines as my most significant accomplishment!

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate enough to collaborate with some of the industry’s most outstanding coaches and trainers. Their guidance and wisdom have given me valuable
insights into what it takes to excel in a physically demanding sport. I have always been eager to share my experience and knowledge with the next generation. I’ve been coaching children and adults at esteemed academies in and around Bangalore for the past seven years. In 2022, I founded my academy – the Sonam Navaz Sports Academy (SNSA) – where I exclusively train
aspiring athletes of all age groups. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned player looking to elevate your game, I offer programs tailored to your needs and aspirations

When I’m not honing my coaching skills or working as a fitness coach, you might catch me drumming at my church or cherishing valuable moments with my beloved family!

As a former athlete turned coach, I’m committed to continuous self-improvement, both on and off the court. With a solid foundation in the social sciences, beginning with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount Carmel College, followed by a Master of Arts in Community Development from Christ College, and culminating in a degree in Human Resources Management from St. Joseph’s College, I am confident in my ability to establish a nurturing
and constructive atmosphere that facilitates progress and advancement for both the children under my care and the coaching staff I lead.

On that note, thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me, and I hope to see you

on the court soon!
